I will always remember Amadou as an outgoing, fun-loving and beautiful soul. He and my daughter were friends at Winterhaven. Amadou was her first "date". They went ice skating at the Lloyd Center and we always enjoyed having him over to our home. She is heartbroken over his passing. The world has lost a young man full of potential. I pray for justice and an end to this terrible gun violence. Rest in peace, Amadou, you had a lasting impact on your Winterhaven friends who mourn and miss you.

I worked with Amadou when I was an educational assistant at Winterhaven. I remember him as such a funny kid, with a great sense of humor, always laughing with his friends. I was so sad to learn of his death. Sending you all light and love at this difficult time.
