I don't think that Nancy or Steve know about this guest book or really anyone for that matter or there would have been so many more messages. I think of Amanda each and every day and also how difficult it must be for Nancy and Steve to wake up each day and remember that Amanda is no longer with us. I just wanted to say this as I am with them in thought everyday.

I was lying in bed tonight as my daughter flew through the night to Arizona...it is the first time she is leaving me to go away with the Berntsens. I was filled with happiness for her and a little nervousness for myself. Then I thought of you Nancy as I have for the last several days. I hate the way worrying makes me feel so tired but I am thankful to have her to worry about. I always admired the way you enjoyed your kids without getting caught up in the unimportant things...you always...

Steve, Nancy, Elizabeth & Garrison,
We wanted to let you know that Amanda and each of you are in our prayers. We hope you are able to find some comfort surrounded by the love of your family and friends. While I only saw Amanda as a child, it is clear that she grew into an engaging, accomplished young woman. May the cherished memories of your daughter and sister help you through this painful time.
With deepest sympathies,
Dawn (Reagan) & Keith Lenert

Our deepest sympathies go out to the entire Block family. I will always treasure the memory of Steve and Amanda sharing lunch last week at the Shake Shack talking about work, life, the future and where her next job would come from. It was a wonderful father/daughter scene that we could all aspire to.
