I don't think that Nancy or Steve know about this guest book or really anyone for that matter or there would have been so many more messages. I think of Amanda each and every day and also how difficult it must be for Nancy and Steve to wake up each day and remember that Amanda is no longer with us. I just wanted to say this as I am with them in thought everyday.

I was lying in bed tonight as my daughter flew through the night to Arizona...it is the first time she is leaving me to go away with the Berntsens. I was filled with happiness for her and a little nervousness for myself. Then I thought of you Nancy as I have for the last several days. I hate the way worrying makes me feel so tired but I am thankful to have her to worry about. I always admired the way you enjoyed your kids without getting caught up in the unimportant things...you always...

I am so saddened to hear of the tragic loss of your daughter and sister. I can only imagine the strength you must find within yourselves and each other from this moment forward. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Our deepest sympathies go out to the entire Block family. I will always treasure the memory of Steve and Amanda sharing lunch last week at the Shake Shack talking about work, life, the future and where her next job would come from. It was a wonderful father/daughter scene that we could all aspire to.

I am very sorry for your loss. I went to Kenyon with Amanda and she will be in my thoughts and prayers.
