Amanda Karene Burnett Marsh

It is with immense sorrow that I share the passing of my wife Amanda Karene Burnett Marsh on Thursday, June 26, 2025. She left this world leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness and strength that will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her. Born on March 9, 1976 in Memphis, TN to Judge David and Sonja Burnett of Osceola.. She is survived by her parents, her husband Ron Marsh and her daughter Ali, her brother and sister-in-law, Jonathan and Tetyana and their children Ian and Anna Burnett. Amanda graduated from Osceola High School and received her BA from Arkansas State University where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. For the last 27 years she has enjoyed being a Parole and Probation Agent in Craighead County. She and her family attended Southwest Church of Christ. While in High School she spent summers hiking and working at Philmont Boy Scout Ranch in Cimarron, NM. Amanda had a passion for traveling (anywhere) and loved visiting Disneyworld and relaxing at the lake. She was happiest when she was with her family celebrating a holiday or cuddling with her precious cat Scar. Ron, her husband, said she was not just my partner in life, but my best friend, my greatest support and the love of my life. Our time together was filled with laughter, challenges, growth and unconditional love...memories I will hold onto forever. Her life was short but packed with memories for all of us to remember with smiles! Visitation will be Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 1-2 with the funeral at 2 PM at First Christian Church in Osceola. Burial will be at Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland, AR with Bro. Randy Jumper officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, AR will be in charge of the arrangements.  The family request memorials be sent to Osceola First Christian Church, 900 West Ford Avenue, Osceola, AR 72370.
