Not sure what to say?

Dear Decoteau Family
First and foremost I am deeply sorry for your loss. I attended Our Lady of Hoe with Amanda and am proud to say that she was a good friend of mine. She was always smiling and cheerful, and never failed to make me laugh. I know she will be greatly missed. And feel horrible to have not been able to attend any of the services. Unfortunatley I just heard the news yesterday, and am currently at school in Maine. Nevertheless, I wanted to send you my deepest sympathies and...

Dear Jimmy & Decoteau Family,
I'm so sorry for your loss. I was out of town until Sunday night and missed the opportunity to give my respects properly. Please know that my thoughts are with you all. Jimmy hopefully I can catch up with you some sunday morning at the club. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Dear Decoteau family,
I had the pleasure of knowing Amanda for seven years. Amanda was one of the few people I knew that was always smiling. She was one of those energetic, nice people who knew how to make you smile and laugh when you were down. Few people have that quality, but Amanda was one of them. I was out of town at the time of the accident and I just learned of the news today. Needless to say, I was crushed to hear another '04 grad tell me what had happened. I was also upset...

May God bless your family. I am deeply sorry for the loss of your daughter/sister/friend. God Bless.

Dear Jim, Laurie and Family,
It was truly a privilege to know your daughter. I am Doll's mother and have enjoyed her company at my house many times. What a smile. She was truly a genuinely sweet person. For many occasions, prom, EDT etc. Amanda and the "girls" have come to my house to have their make up done by my eldest daughter Jenessa. What a pleasure it was to have all of them there. My family and I will miss Amanda terribly. Our hearts ache for your loss. May God bless your family.

Dear Decoteau family, as I sit here, just two days after attending Amandas wake I want to continue to express my sympathies to you for the loss of your daughter. I went to Cathedral with Amanda and I'll never forget how she was always there, no matter how down and out you felt Amanda could always make you laugh...she was friendly and outgoing to everyone...my thoughts and prayers are with you, she'll never be forgotton. Janet

Laurie, Jim and family,

I was so saddened when i heard of your loss. I remember the girls as little ones at the grocery store with Daddy. My heart and prayers are with you at this most difficult time and yet I know that if Amanda was anything like you Laurie you were truly blessed. God bless all of you.

To the Decoteau Family, I heard what happened on TV and I am sorry about your loss. Losing someone that young is a hard thing to deal with. Again, I am sorry about your loss.

To the Decoteau Family,
I know that I am telling you something everyone already knows but I feel that it just has to be said how amazing of a person Amanda truly was and she will be sorely missed by all forever. I feel so blessed to have known her as long as I had. My prayers are with her and you now and always. Again I am terribly sorry for your tremendous loss. Amanda truly was and is an Angel.
