Not sure what to say?

I mostly remember Amanda as being quiet, yet very in tuned to what was being said. She was a very serious student at a very young age and she also was a smart little girl. She will never be forgotten by her second grade teacher and she will be close to my heart in memory. May her family continue to hold her close with sweet memories of her life and trust that God has her engulfed in his embrace.

Literally one of my first best friends! Wish I got to see you one more time, do one more cheer routine, one more walk home from school... Just one more day to at least say "see you later girl". I miss you and just want you to continue to rest in peace friend!

Amanda my dear you are still mentioned in my prayers every single day and will continue to be a part of my prayers. May your soul be at peace as you fly with the angels. To Mom, may your heart be soothed by the warm of God and knowing your baby is in a place of peace and happiness. P Handy

You will forever have an unforgettable place In my heart. Still love & miss you baby girl

To Amanda's mom and her entire family, I think of Amanda each day as I always include her in my daily prayers. She had such a sweet spirit which is not forgotten. I pray with each prayer that her dear soul is blessed by God and she is in such good company. In those moments of sadness, which comes so unexpectedly, ask God to hold your heart so that hurt is softened and it may pass for awhile. May God be with you! Peggy Handy
(Amanda's Second Grade Teacher)

I just heard and I offer my condolences.

Just up early Sunday morning and thinking about you Amanda. I know
so many people have sent up prayers
for you and I am one of those people.
I pray you are in good company and if
(by chance) you pass a tall friendly
spirit by the name of Jamil, trust him
and say Hi. That's my eldest son who
made his transition in 2009. He is a
good guy.I send my love.
Ms. Handy, your 2nd Grade Teacher!
