Amanda Theresa Hernandez, age 23, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away May 6, 2011, at Jennie Edmundson Hospital.
Amanda was born November 1, 1987, in Council Bluffs, to Joe and Kristine (Grosse) Hernandez, Jr. She was a 2006 graduate of Abraham Lincoln High.
Amanda is survived by daughters, Eliza, Georgia and Camryn Kampplain; parents, Joe and Kristine Hernandez, Jr.; sisters, Nicole and Jordan Hernandez; brother, Nathan Hernandez; grandparents, Delbert and Nancy Grosse, all of Council Bluffs; grandmother, Anastacia Hernandez, of Omaha, Neb.; aunts, uncles and a niece.
A visitation will be held Monday. 6 to 8 p.m., at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home with Reverend Greg Carlson of Bethany Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be at Plumer Settlement Cemetery. Family will direct memorials.

I am SO SORRY to hear about Amanda's passing. I just found out and I am so sorry to hear this. Amanda was such a wonderful person and I very much enjoyed watching her grow up and become a mom herself. I am in shock & disbelief! I will miss seeing her at VBS with her babies.
