Amanda P. Long

Amanda. P. Long Bridgewater, NJ Amanda P. Long, 17, of Bridgewater NJ, passed away peacefully at her home, with her family at her side on Thursday, September 24, 2015. She was born in Somerville, NJ and has been a Bridgewater resident for her whole life. She was a talented artist and musician, and a loving daughter, sister and friend. Amanda was a student at Bridgewater Raritan High School. She excelled both scholastically and in her extracurricular activities. She played the clarinet and was a dedicated member of the B.R.H.S Marching Band. Artistic expression was her true passion and devotion. She loved to paint, illustrate, and draw portraits. She did so beautifully and hoped to pursue this further after graduating high school by attending an art institute. She loved playing with her dog George, drawing, and playing the guitar and clarinet. She was an amazing girl, who put thought and love into everything she did in life. She touched the lives of everyone she met and will be missed by everyone who knew her. Surviving are her beloved parents, Jianmin Long and Xiao Huang of Bridgewater NJ; and her loving sister Apple Long, of Bridgewater NJ. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
