Amanda Nuno, age 34, of Snohomish Washington, passed away on June 15, 2023.
Amanda was born on January 3, 1989, in San Jose and she was loved and nurtured by her mother Lisa Estrella and step-father John Estrella, as well as her father David S Nuno and step-mother Ann Nuno. She grew up in Gilroy alongside her brothers David D Nuno and John Michael Estrella. She attended Gilroy High school and roused her classmate’s spirits as a cheerleader there.
Amanda had a passion for wine and loved being around people. She joined these passions in a successful career at various wineries, including Chateau Ste. Michelle in Washington state. She dreamed of becoming a sommelier and exploring the wineries of Europe.
Amanda's supreme joy was spending time with her family and friends. She loved cooking, attending BBQ’s, rooting for the Dallas Cowboys, and traveling with her family on vacation. Her sparkling personality attracted people into her orbit, and her captivating smile lit up every room she entered. Her joy was infectious and her love flowed as generously as a bold Merlot.
Amanda was a daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin, girlfriend, best friend and she was a beautiful force like no other. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
A memorial service to celebrate Amanda's life will be held on Sunday July 9, 2023, at Habing Family Funeral Home, located at 129 4th Street, Gilroy. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to your local Women's Shelter.
