Amanda Dawn Palmer, 27, of Esmont, died Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at the University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville.

She was born December 25, 1983, in Charlottesville.

Amanda is survived by her momma, Mary Katherine Dudley and her husband, Earl, of Esmont; her daddy, Rickey S. Palmer and his wife, Sunshine, of Gordonsville; her companion of many years, Timothy Wayne Kingrea; and her special friend, "8" of Buckingham; two brothers, Seth Palmer and his wife, Barbara, and their son, Seth "Diddle" Palmer and daughter, Kaleigh Nicole Palmer; all of Ruckersville, and Earl J. Dudley Jr. of Barboursville; two sisters, Crystal Renee Dudley and Danielle Leigh Shifflett, both of Charlottesville; grandmothers, Etta Estes, June Dudley, Wanda Palmer and Nancy Knight; grandfathers, Grover Palmer and Jerry Dudley; very special aunts, Joyce Ann Hensley and Joyce Morris; very special cousins, Anna Marie Bryant and daughter, Brook; Godmother, Debbie Fay Rose; many other aunts, uncles and cousins; very special friends, Natasha, Sharonda, Ashley, Niki, Louis "Pee Wee" Clements, and many, many more.

A graveside funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 26, 2011, at the ByBee Road Baptist Church Cemetery, officiated by the Reverend Carmon Hartsfield.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2011, at the Preddy Funeral Home Chapel, Gordonsville.
