Not sure what to say?

Missing my mother and hearing her so often these days saying to me and my brother Cleve, "Just think!" I wish she could see her great grands!! Thankful for the life lessons she gave and the ability to recognize quality clothing too!! :-)

Missing my mom everyday, needing her wisdom and advise and critical wit! So special to me and my children and yes, truly a pioneer and huge advocate for Reading. She would say today, we all need to read more and talk less.

Mom's place of rest is in the family cemetery of Mt. Prospect church in South Carolina

We pray that God remember your good work and the love You showed for his name may your family be bless.

She was a wonderful role model to many new librarians, including me. Always ready to accept a challenge and forge new paths. She lives on in the work of all the librarians she helped over the years.

I will cherish her spirit and memory. She was a role model to many librarians. She will be dearly missed. I am most grateful to have met and become acquainted with another distinguished librarian, Ms. Loretta Parham, Ms. Rudd's daughter and legacy.

Blessings,

Em Claire

To Amanda's Family -- My thoughts and prayers are with you, even as I realize how great it must have been to have had a mother, grandmother, etc., for a good, long life. She knew how to enjoy herself and others, as well as to work and to achieve. And I hope she knew, before her death, of Loretta's being selected as Academic Librarian of the Year by the Association of College and Research Libraries. Leave 'em proud!

My her love and peace surround you as you go through this difficult time.. Trusting that one day we will all be together again. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
Rev. Albert & Lauriese Goldsmith

My prayers are with you Loretta and your family. Your mother lived a beautiful life. She has been blessed beyond measure. I owe my career to this wonderful lady. She has always been such an inspiration.
