Not sure what to say?

Mandy was my first born grandchild. She was such a sweetheart; always full of fun. Always very active and thoughtful of others. I will greatly miss her. God Bless, Grandma

I was so sorry to hear about Amanda's death. For the past two summers, I have looked forward to spending time with Amanda while we worked together, at Camp Calumet. She was a great nurse- kind and caring and incredibly smart! She was my role model for how to relax! Betsy and Michael send hugs to Meghan Grace, their buddy. May you all share your love, tears and hugs, as you remember your wife and mom! I'll remember her and you in my prayers... Blessings

I first met Amanda several years ago when I was a new nurse at Camp Calumet. She was a caring, compassionate nurse and a pleasure to work with. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. .

I want to thank everyone for the kind thoughts, prayers, and overwhelming support my family and I have received these past few days... A memorial service for Amanda will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Amherst, Sat. Feb. 14th, at 1:30 pm.

Amanda was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed. I had the fortune of getting to know Amanda over the past few years when she came to Calumet during the summer and was so fondly referred to as Nurse Amanda. I will miss her friendship and laughter. All of us at Calumet will keep Amanda, Neal, Sam, Max and Meghan Grace in our prayers. Please give Meghan Grace an extra hug for me - she has been my special friend and helper in the office over the past few years.

Dear Slocombe Family
I am so sorry for your loss. Mandy was a great friend to many. I am so glad that she, Lori and I had a chance to visit, catch up and laugh about our high school days together in Dec.

Amanda Slocombe touched the lives of so many people at Hopkins Academy, many of whom you've never met. She was warm, caring, loving and giving to anyone who was lucky enough to have interacted with her. We feel blessed that our children had the opportunity to know such a special woman. We are very sorry for your loss.
