I knew Amanda through her job at Carmen y Jaun's. I normally bring a book to read when I go out too eat and the first time I met her she asked about the book I was reading. After that when ever I went there I never read, I'd made a friend that day. Amanda always created me with a smile and talked with me through my meal. I just found out about Amanda's death and my family sends our love and prayers to Amanda's family and friends. We only knew Amanda from being Carmen y Juan's regulars, but her big, beautiful smile and delightfully friendly personality were a real joy.
