Not sure what to say?

Sorry to hear that Mari died. Mari light up our life as a child. I remember when she was little and Doug was teaching her how to play " Captain My I" with the kids. I whispered to her, she could sneak ahead when Doug wan´t looking. When it was her turn she said to Doug " I´am going to sneak now". It seams like just yesterday, you came by trick/treating and we couldn´t get over how much Mari had grown. When I think of Mari, I think of her as a child. Not only did she leave her foot...

Mari was such a wonderful young lady . I wish all of our love and support could have changed this outcome. When we worked at Rockys together we became close . I lost touch with her while she was experiencing the worst of her battle but she was always in my heart and mind. The obituary was so well written it brought me to tears . Deepest sympathies . This beautiful girl will be missed <3

I cried when I heard she was gone. I cried again when I read this beautiful obituary. She has finally found lasting peace. Our hearts go out to you, and we keep you all in prayer at this terrible loss. May all the wonderful memories comfort you. God´s blessings and love.

Thank you for bringing the agonizing truth of addiction to the forefront. My son has an addiction to alcohol and I want people to learn that we cannot hide from it. The stigma must end and by speaking out maybe we can turn something sad and hurtful into an education. Thanks

Heidi - Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Mari finally found peace although the journey was so very very hard. You've always been in our thoughts and in our hearts. "The Angel Got Her Wings" Jo & Angie ( Gerke - Onalaska)

My sincerest sympathies to Mari´s family. I will remember her as the creative writer in 5th grade who won a National writing contest-must be her mother´s genes. She was a sweet girl and I am saddened to hear of her struggles in life. I hope she has found her peace. May God comfort and guide you with strength and courage to move forward.
