Not sure what to say?

Mother Amata Rose was a dear friend. She was always there with prayers when in need. We will all miss her. We in The Akron Marygrove Chapter have her to thank for the group that was formed because of her. Because of her and two other Marygrove alumni,we now have a group that has endured with togetherness for 65 years. We thank her for her prayers and admire her dedication that she had to her calling in life.

My Dear Sisters,

Diane Hunt told me of Mother's passing. The angels are rejoicing I am sure now that she is with them. I am sure too, that some tears have been shed in the quiet moments missing her as you think back on the great leader and caregiver she was while in the office of Reverend Mother. She helped me walk the way of Holy Mother Clare and I will always be grateful to her. May her prayers in heaven help us each and every day.

With love in Our Lord,
Christine...

Dear Poor Clare Sisters,

Living down the street from the monastery has allowed us to experience your example of complete love and devotion to Jesus Christ.

Mother Rose was a mover and shaker of the Catholic Community. She, being a Poor Clare Colettine, directed her sisters in the rule of the Poor Clares. She embraced Lady Poverty and the Rule in such a way that was hidden to the world.

Each time we passed by the monastery, visited the chapel, served at Mass...

I am very blessed to say that Mother Amata Rose was my aunt. When I was a child, she always looked upon me with promise and reminded me that Our Lord Jesus loved me and no love could be greater than His love. The holiday and birthday cards I received from her were made with her hands and I always looked forward to recceiving them. However it was the messages of inspiration inside them that I knew came from her heart. I will always remember the opportunity she gave to me when she asked me to...

Mother Amata Rose was a true steward of the Franciscan tradition!
She was a faithful and loving daughter of St. Clare and St. Francis of Assisi, a feverent religious and an outstanding person. Her life has left an everlasting mark on mine, and I am humbled for having known her and called her: "Mother". What joy there must be in heaven this day!
+ "May the Virgin Mary with her loving Son, bless us!" God bless you, dear Mother!

What a marvelous lady; true to her vocation, exemplifying a loving concern for humankind and a sincere generosity in always willing to pray for all who asked.
