Amber Lee McNeely

Amber Lee McNeely, age 14, of Hot Springs, died Thursday, October 20, 2005.

She was born on December 17, 1990 at Hot Springs. She was a ninth grader at Lakeside Junior High School and a member of the Community Baptist Church.

She is survived by her mother and step-father, Mary and David Noyes of Hot Springs; her father, Travis McNeely of Hot Springs; three brothers, Joey Thompson, John Thompson and T. J. McNeely all of Hot Springs; her maternal grandparents, John IV and Liz Cammack of Tumbling Sholes (Cleburne County); her paternal grandparents, Bob and Dianna Bowen and Lee and Linda McNeely all of Hot Springs; two uncles, John Cammack of Tumbling Sholes and Darren McNeely and his wife, Sherry, of Hot Springs; and four aunts, Beth Cammack of Russellville, Kelly Cammack of Tumbling Sholes, Dena McNeely of Norfork and Bridgett Crecelus and her husband, Hogan, of Jonesboro.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 26, 2005 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Todd Houck, Craig Erickson and Rev. Gene Anderson officiating.

Visitation will be Tuesday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Interment will be in the Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.

Pallbearers will be Joey Thompson, John Thompson, T. J. McNeely, John Cammack V, Justin Buck and Josh Harvey.

I went to school with Amber when she went to Jessieville. We played softball together one year. I am good friends with her brother. Everyone at Jessieiville will there for T.J. through this whole time. Cause Amber was a little but yet a big part a of our lifes.
I am very sorry for the McNelly's lost but just remeber that she is in a better place.

I feel so sorry for Amber's family. She was a friend of mine and was in some classes with me at Lakeside and also road my bus. She was always so sweet and nice. But shes in heaven now and im sure she's very happy.

There are no comforting words for you in this time of grief, but if nothing else sinks in, please reflect on how Heaven was made a MUCH better place the second Amber was escorted in by the angels.
I feel your pain but please remember how she saved 5 other people by her gift of organs and that our God is an Awesome God and he now has Amber by His side.

I have known Amber sence 1999. She always had a smile on her face, and always made me laugh. I will never forget when I was her PeeWee Cheerleading Coach. My prayers go out to Nikki, Travis, and T.J.
