Amber Pierce, 43, of Hampstead, NC, died on April 2, 2025, in Cary, NC.


She was born in Goldsboro, NC, on November 23, 1981, the daughter of Mac Overman of Mt. Olive, NC, and the late Rosemary Harrell Lutcavage.


Surviving in addition to her father, is her husband, Jimmy Pierce of Hampstead, NC; two sons, Seth Simmons and Gavin Simmons, both of Hampstead, NC; stepdaughter, Morgan Pierce of Clayton, NC; and her stepfather, Greg Lutcavage of Goldsboro, NC.


Amber was a loving wife to Jimmy. She was a loving mother to Seth and Gavin who were the light of her life. She was a loving stepmother to Morgan. She was a `treasured friend to all who knew her. She loved her furry friends, her dog Lucky, and cats Juno, Shyla, Pumpkin, Kibby, and Memow. She enjoyed her home by the water and spent many happy hours there with family and friends. She enjoyed her many travels with Jimmy. Amber was a great cook and loved to share that gift with others. She had a generous heart and was always willing to help those in need. Amber had a beautiful smile that would brighten any room. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.


The family will celebrate her life and share memories from 1:00 – 2:00 pm Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Andrews Mortuary Hampstead Chapel. Immediately following a graveside service will be held for family and close friends in Sea Lawn Memorial Park.
