Not sure what to say?

Amber was one of the most talented students at school. She excelled in academics, dance, cheerleading and vocal music. We attended grade school, middle, school and high school together. I am blessed to have known her and am inspired by the life she chose lead after graduation. My heart goes out for her family! I am so sorry for your loss!

Jimmy, I was saddened upon seeing this. I was trying to find Jan on the internet and the article about Amber popped up. She sounds like a marvelous person and what a terrible tragedy to happen to you and your family. Remembering times growing up in St. Albans, my heart breaks for you and your family.

When my mom passed away while I was in gateway Amber did everything in her power to make sure I still followed through & stayed true to my goals. I am so sorry for your loss I know how losing someone unexpectedly can turn a life around. I am blessed to have called Amber my mentor and experience her presence. I send my deepest condolences to Ambers family. I know my mom was holding the light for you as you found your way into the next life. Thank you for believing in me even when I didn´t...

Amber was like a second mother to me when I was in gateway to college, or at least the closest thing to. She gave me many second chances and offered help in every way possible. Even offered to go to court with me when I was not making the best life choices. She truly cared, not just about me but every student. I hope everyone is doing okay and handling the loss in the best way possible. I´m so sorry. She was a truly amazing human being.

Amber and I were teachers together in the Integrated Learning Program (ILP) beginning at Yates and then at the former Druid Hill campus. Most important to her were her children. She enjoyed her work as an educator and connected with students. She liked to laugh. I am so sorry to you, her family, for her passing. You have my sympathy and prayers.

Amber was someone I would call friend. We had many laughs and many memories at Yates. You are missed

I'm so sorry for your loss. Amber was a bright beautiful light in the world! I will cherish my friendship with her and the many memories. She will be missed by so many. Sending prayers at this difficult time.

Matt, we are so sorry to hear about Amber's passing. We feel terrible about what you have gone thru these past few weeks. We did our best praying for her safe return. We continue to pray for you, the kids and the Tjaden and Suttle families.

Amber was my boss and my Mentor. Her passion for her students was obvious and admirable. She always supported me whenever the need arose. I will miss her greatly.
