AMELIA LEAVELL ASKEW

On a recent visit to Memphis, I had an opportunity to meet Mrs. A and attend church with she and her daughter-in-law Annette. It was quite clear why Annette spoke so often and very highly of Mrs. A. A sweet and kind woman who will be missed by all. My prayers are with the family.

I had heard so many wonderful things about Amelia from my son, Steven, and her granddaughter, Sissy. I am privileged to have recently met her and to see for myself what a joy she truly is. I know how much her presence in this family will be missed. But her spirit of love will always live on in our hearts.

Mark's mom was always so nice to me when I visited their home on Galloway during our high school years; and she continued to be lovely when I chatted with her in her front yard on Hawthorne the last several years.

Dear Family,
I have known Amelia thru Calvary Church and sh will make a marvelous Angel. She certainly was an angelic person here on earth. She will be missed greatly.
