During the past four years I had the joy of working with Mrs. Williams. As she shared her life story with me, I poignantly recalled her advise--"age is just a bundle of numbers." She acted out this belief every day as she pursued her university degrees. Neither snow, rain nor illness kept her from achieving her goal. I will truly miss her wit and determination. She inspired me everyday.

If every college student put in the effort and displayed the dedication to learning that Ms. Williams continued to show in her time at Central Connecticut State University, we'd have already solved many of the problems that face us still! We'll miss you, Amelia.

I had the pleasure of being one of Mrs. Williams' professors. This fall I introduced her to my nephew, who will be a college student in January, and I was so pleased that he could meet such an inspirational woman. She loved learning and went to great lengths to realize her dream. I loved her and I will never forget her.

May god bless you and your family at this time, she was a good friend and one of the nicest person we have known.
