Not sure what to say?

I think of Rick often, and of his family whose sense of loss must still beso profound. When I attended our 50th SHS class reunion in Oct. of 2019, Rick´s absence was palpable and I couldn´t help but think how much he would have enjoyed being there and how great it would have been to spend time with him.

Dear Janet, Joanne, and Sam,

Please accept my deepest sympathies for the loss of husband and brother, Rick. You sense of loss must be profound, and life for the entire extended family will never be the same. I hope the day will come when you can think of Rick and smile, grateful for the years you had together with such an outstanding person.
I have so many fond memories I cannot recount them here. Certainly, sitting in the living room in your family home on North Street watching...

This MBC girl first met Rick in the Fall of 1969 at a rush party at St. Elmo Hall. My date had instructed me to be especially nice to Rick and his roommate, Bergie, because the St. Elmo's really wanted them both to pledge. On Bid Sunday, I was among the crowd greeting Rico and Bergie as they walked up the steps to be enthusiastically welcomed by their soon-to-be Elmo brothers. This wise, sophisticated, hip, unpretentious Jersey Guy in one of the preppiest frats at Virginia cool, confident...

Janet and family-So sorry for your loss. Prayers for healing go out to you.

very sorry for your loss. rick was a good guy and friend.

Rick will be a fond memory to me. He always took time to sit and talk with me as busy as his life was. He knew I could use some words of wisdom and those words he shared with me and I will be grateful for and they will forever remain with me . Rick, I believe was an old soul and Someone who's desire was to help a persons in need of guidance and insight. I'm saddened by his passing but his inspiring spirit the last I spoke with him in spite of his serious health condition was that ...when...

College Brothers

My college roommate, UVa 1972-73. A beautiful mind: bright, philosophical, a perfect English major and a great communicator. We loved sports. I refereed debates between Rico, obviously a New York fan, and our third roommate, the late Bergs, from Baltimore , as to which teams were better; they're arguing right now the 69 Super Bowl. And Mets or Yankees vs Orioles. But especially we loved hearing that late night saxophone; Can't You Hear Me Knockin' . My deepest condolences to Janet and...

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Moving back to New Jersey after a lifetime of living in St Louis it was so nice to know Rick was in the area we were living in. We needed an attorney to change our wills and other legal papers. He was happy to take us on as clients and to help us in any way in getting settled in the area. We were classmates at SHS. I will always remember his kindness and his helpful advice professionally. Sincere condolences to his family and friends.
