Amie was one of my best friends and like a big sister to me. She had so much passion for life and love for her family and friends she was an inspiration to me. I will miss her tremendously. Love to her family, my thoughts are with you always.

My concolences to all. It seem's like yesterday when we were kids but this news reminds me of how short life is. May Amie rest in peace now that her suffering is over. You are all in my prayers.

Amie was blessed with a passion for life. I will remember her arriving at family gatherings. The room lighting would seem to brighten a few watts, and she would begin spreading her extreme life force. We were all drawn to her warmth and humor.
To say that Amie enjoyed "the road less traveled" is an
understatement. Amie didn't seem to even notice the popular path, and her path seemed to take her exactly where she wanted to be.
