Not sure what to say?

Amil, I know you were a close friend and 'cugino' to my father, Fred. He really looked forward to your visits and told me about the fun you two had.

We'll see you later, buddy, then you to show us that book we talked about!

I spent the better part of 4 summers working with my friends in the Spada bean fields. We set the posts, wire, string, irrigation, picked and loaded the beans. We all enjoyed working with Amil. He taught us how to work! Great memories working with for the man. He will be missed.

Amil you truly shall be missed at The Venture Inn. You were a true regular that always had a story or two to share. Your Karaoke singing on fridays will be missed. Thank you for all the great memories. You were a special part of Parkrose and always will be remembered.

Iloved hearing the stories from my mother and her sisters and brothers, the Poleo kids, who worked on the Spada farm with their cousins, Vito and Amil. It always sounded like Amil was the "kid who always was raising hell" and urging the others to participate even as they worked long hours on the farm. My mother, Mary Amatio, loved her dear cousin and he spoke very highly of her at her funeral. What a beautiful generation they were.

Two old frinds from the past, that enjoyed our long visits about everything. We have missed seeing you for a long time.We will see you again.

Having not seen Amil visit friends at the CRACKERBOX TAVERN as often as he used to, we wondered weekly where he was. His photos, memories, and friends are still here, and always will be. Amil Spada--a great and gracious man.

Im gonna miss you singing to me at the dinner table.

sorry for your lost- Nancy laPlante
