Amos was a positive and effective driving force and VOICE for in the Indianapolis community, especially for the Blacks populace. He will never be replaced and will always be a part of the rich local history.

I am so sad to read about Amos' death, which just appeared in our alumni magazine from Northwestern University. As fellow broadcasters on campus radio station WNUR from '69-'72, Amos & I spent many hours together with our small group of radio "nerds", discussing both college and international issues while drinking many cups of (bad) coffee .
