Not sure what to say?

Dear Sue and John, so very sorry for your loss. It´s been many years since I worked for Overton in the 70´s, never forgetting his kindness and guidance he gave to me. Prayers are coming your way.

Overton was so thoughtful and supportive to me in my first ministry call as an associate at Community Christian Church in KCMO. He helped me in ways that he may have thought small, but were very big to me. I remember him as patient, positive, and good-humored. Generous in many ways, including with his time and down-to-earth common sense.

Dear Sue and Family, Please accept my sincerest sympathy and prayers. I was introduced to Overton by H.W. Harris when i bought the Old Missouri Homestead in Sedalia in 1978. He was quite instrumental in my purchasing it. Then, of course, there was Pierre Lamy and their friend/business relationship and the others who believed in Overton. I remember you two coming to dine at McGrath's not that long ago, also. A gentleman and a scholar was he, to say the least. Fondly, Pam McGrath

Sue, You, John and the rest of your family are in our thoughts and prayers. I have many fond memories of Overton and your family at The Dorsey/Hill Thanksgivings. My children who are now grown with children of their own will forever remember their favorite thanksgivings at "the cousins with the elevator"!! Our Condolences, Elizabeth, Robert IV, Blake, Katie and their families.

I always enjoyed working with you Overton! We had a lot of discussions and laughs over the years. My heart breaks for you Sue. I will always remember you Overton! Sondra

Thinking of you and your mom!
