Not sure what to say?

Dr. Prevatt was my mom and my dad's doctor and was there throughout the illnesses and deaths of both. I remember so many early morning visits when he would pop in the hospital room to see how my mom was doing throughout her journey with cancer. He was there through some of the darkest times and my parents trusted him to do what was best and we knew we would always hear the absolute truth from him. I truly appreciate all Dr. Prevatt did to help both of my parents and our family. He worked...

I am saddened to hear of Dr. Prevatt's passing. He has been my family's physician for a long time as well as my own. My prayers are with his family. He was such a wonderful person and doctor.

From my earliest days at Sacred Heart I recognized the value of Dr. Prevatt; a physician who CARED and who wanted things done well and correctly. I learned so much from him. Quiet, never seeking attention or praise, he just focused on doing the right thing in the right way. Pensacola has been blessed to have him. My condolences to Ging and the family in their loss. We have lost a great man.

Doctor Amos Lee Prevatt was my friend, doctor and fishing buddy. He was a Doctors' Doctor and was the Best of the Best. Many years ago when we first started fishing together he told me he had to be home by 12 noon so he could make his rounds to see his patients in the nursing homes, rehab centers and the hospital. I ask even if the fish are biting and he just smiled and said yes even if the fish are biting. His loved for our Saturdays fishing came second to the needs of his patients. I know...

I'm soo sorry to hear that Dr. Prevatt has passed. He was such a wonderful man, he took great care of both of my grandparents. Rest in peace sir, thank you for your kindness. God bless the family.

He was a very wonderful caring man. He was our Dr. For over four years. Prayers going to his family

Dr. Prevatt we’re already missing you. Thank you for years of care for my grandparents, parents and my husband and myself. There was (and is) no other doctor like you that we trusted and loved so much. Condolences and Prayers for your family.

My Parents and I (Mother was his 25th patient) put our health into Dr. Prevatt's very capable hands many years ago and trusted him entirely like no other. I have quoted him numerous times in conversations to others dispensing the same advice he had given. To us, no other doc quite measured up to him. Dr. Prevatt, Thank you for your exceptional care to Moma, Daddy, and I and for your extreme kindness and encouraging words. You have finished your course and have obtained a crown of life from...
