Amram Nowak

As a former student of Amram's at Syracuse and as the first of Nowak Associates, my friedship with Amram goes back to 1948. He taught me about film and moved my career from theatre to filmmaking. Each time I would come to New York we would get together for lunch and our last lunch was April 29, 2005. My sincere expression of sympathy for the departure of Mr. Novak, whom I have known since 1989 and my last communication with him was on June 1, 2005. In my business dealings with Mr. Novak he was always honorable and respectful. I remember him dearly. May he rest in peace, and blessings to all his family and friends.
