Amy Kay Ulrich the daughter of Jerry and Donna (Nielsen) Ulrich, was born December 13, 1972 in Estherville, Iowa. Nathan Alan Anderson the son of Darryl and Sue (Glasnapp) Anderson was born June 2, 1973, in Estherville. They died on Monday, April 17, 2006, at their home in Armstrong, Iowa. Amy and Nathan both graduated from Armstrong/Ringsted High School in 1991. Amy attended Iowa lakes Community College in Estherville while Nathan attended NIACC in Mason City and then graduated from Iowa State University in 1995. On August 13, 1994, Amy and Nathan were united in marriage at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Armstrong. Following their marriage, Amy was employed with Jerry's Well Service and Nathan worked as a Midwest Manager of Feeder Pigs at Prestage-Stoecker in Algona, Iowa. Nathan also helped his brother, Jeff with custom feeding hogs. The couple were both big Iowa State Cyclone fans and enjoyed golfing, camping, playing softball, spending time with their family and especially their children. Amy also enjoyed gardening and shopping in her leisure time. Amy and Nathan were members of Nazareth Lutheran Church where they both also taught Sunday School. Left to cherish their memory are their children, Bailey, Brady and Brendan of Armstrong; Amy's parents, Jerry and Donna Ulrich of Armstrong; Nathan's parents, Darryl and Sue Anderson of Ringsted; Amy's sisters, Kelly Anderson and her husband, Nathan and Darci Prochniak and her husband, Jesse of Armstrong; Nathan's brothers, Jeff Anderson and his wife, Shelley of Ringsted; Aaron Anderson and his wife, Liz of Marietta, Ohio; Amy's grandparents, Walt and Delores Ulrich of Graettinger; Nathan's grandmother, Laura Anderson of Ringsted and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Amy has been preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, cousin, aunt and uncle. Nathan has been preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, paternal grandfather, cousin, aunt and uncle. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Anderson Kid's Memorial Fund.
