I have now just learned of Amy Beeman's death. I met Amy when were both studying in different programs at Temple's campus in Rome nearly thirty years ago. Amy was an intelligent and kind person who was always a pleasure to sit and talk with. She was funny and would tease me about things I hadn't noticed about myself.
