Amy I never met you, but yet I knew you well,
the uniform and badge you wore, your story they did tell,

With courage and conviction, you went out every day,
to make the world a safer place, for us to work and play,

So many came to say goodbye, so many tears were shed,
your life was taken way too soon, but what a life you led,

Somewhere in this crowd today, someone's inspired by you,
and someday they will wear a badge,...

I didn't know her, yet her short but honorable life left an impact on so many of us that will not soon fade.. When I look up on a clear night, I'll wipe away a tear, and know one of those stars is her. God bless you, officer Caprio

My heart was saddened when I heard about this story in the news. Your daughter, wife, sister, cousin, niece, grand daughter, aunt, friend and co-worker was someone who became a police officer to make a difference in this cruel world we live in.
