Not sure what to say?

I am so very sorry to hear of Amy's passing. We met ages ago at painting events and I really enjoyed her humor, her thoughtful observations and her humanity. She was a lovely pastel artist, having both talent and humility. I will miss her and remember her sweet presence and person.

I became friends with Amy at Jordan. We were in the band together. I am so saddened by this news. The thing I remember most about Amy was her smile. I last saw her in Chapel Hill in the early 90's and simply remember her sweet nature and smiling face.

I had the pleasure and honor of Amy attending my painting workshop. Amy was a serious artist with a sweet personality. David Savellano

Amy at her easel

This photograph was taken in 2008 during a painting exhibition to promote the Frank Bette Plein Air Paintout. It shows Amy's sweetness, shy nature and the joy she exhibited when working with her pastels. We will all miss her at the paintouts. Genie Scott

This is very sad news. Amy was a delightful person and terrific artist admired by many. She will be remembered fondly by all involved at Frank Bette Center. She gave the world beautiful paintings of Alameda at our Plein Air Paintouts. From Debra and Amy's friends at FBCA.

MJ,
We are sorry to hear of this news. We love you and Amy both. Anything we can do, just call.

I was so sorry to hear of Amy's death. We grew apart after high school just due to distance but she was an important part of my life. My condolences to her husband, parents, brothers and family.

MJ - I was lucky to paint with Amy (and my longtime friend, Patty), before you guys moved away. I will have only good memories of Amy. My heartfelt sympathies for you and her family - S M Botstein

Sending strength and love to MJ, Dr. & Mrs. Gitelman, Phil, Danny, and Steve.
