Not sure what to say?

It was at Amy's birthday party that I first met her in 1989. I was very new to the community and came along with a mutual friend. Amy was so gracious, she made me feel very comfortable and welcome. Amy, you'll always have a place in my heart and in my closet.....I've always got a pair of K-Swiss tennies because of you! Rest well, dear friend......xo Barb

I have known Amy for 10 years. We have been best friends for most of that time. This past holiday season was the first in that 10 years that we did not spend together because of her move to Austin. We walked with each other through good times and sad times. I used to gig around San Diego and she showed up to every performance. Amy tried to remain attentive through every song even though she'd heard them hundreds of times. We were always dance partners at sober events cause she was the only...

Amy and I, along with numerous other special people, were all members of a wonderful group known fondly as "the girls in the hood". We had some great fun times that I will never forget, especially when we made our own version of a Super Bowl video in San Diego. No one could have done the broadcast better than Amy. The world is now short one very special person. My condolences to the family.

I had just finished reading "Unanswered Prayers" when I read that Amy had died. I was saddened to hear this, the story really struck me as one of the best ones I had read in the past few years. Rest in peace, Amy.

I'm very sad. Amy was an bright and talented writer. She will be unforgettable, because yours wonderful stories.

I met Amy through my sister Denise. She was always kind to everyone and loved to be around family. There will always be a place in our hearts for Amy and certainly a few stories to go along with it.

I had just emailed Amy last month about her new story and how much I enjoyed it. How sad to have such talent taken. But God now has one talented person.
To the family of Amy, so sorry. May God help you to find peace during this time.

Her writings were magic.
Amy created beautiful worlds with her stories and made visiting them a treasured keepsake.
I am thankful that she shared her gift with us. It s a gift I will treasure.

I had just finished reading "Unanswered Prayers" and was about to email amy to let her know what a great story it was. I was shocked instead to read of her passing. Although, I did not know Amy or get a chance to let her know what a great writer she was and how touched I was with her story, I miss her. Weird, I know but true. You have been blessed Amy and the fields await you. I am sure that you and LJ Maas will entertain everyone there as you have here.
