UECC sends our deepest sympathy to the Hagedorn Family. Amy was a remarkable woman who's deep love and enthusiasm embraces everyone she touch. UECC memory of her is her commitment to Childcare & the building of Communities in providing homes for the homeless & her fairness in management. A soft voice in the time of daily storms in the many programs she will find the answers somehow, someway, somewhere. It was always a pleasure to visit her home & be one selves. You will be greatly...

I met Amy when I volunteered at Sustainable Long Island in its early years. She was an amazingly compassionate and hands-on leader. I remember an early SLI fundraiser held in her spectacular back yard. She joined the much-younger volunteers as we set up tables and chairs for the event in the brutal August heat. Then we all showered in her home and she morphed into a cordial hostess and dedicated fundraiser. Just thinking of her makes me smile! Deepest condolences to all the members of her...

I met Mrs. Hagedorn a couple of times in NY City in connection with Sue Hagadorn and the Miracle-Gro Scholars Program. She was very passionate about education. I liked her a lot. She had a kind soul. I want extend my sympathies as well as those from the Miracle-Gro Scholars in Columbus to all of the Hagadorn Family. Gerlinde

Amy ...as I think of her.

So sorry to hear of the death of Amy Hagedorn. She, Horace, David and I had some wonderful times together. Also I had the opportunity to observe her extraordinary teaching ability when shooting a video for her on the importance of pre-kindergarten programs. Amy was a really good person. R.I.P.
