Mrs Reed was a wonderful teacher and absolutely, through her thorough and fun introduction into the world of calculus, set me up for successes as a premedical student at Case Western. Forty years later and I still remember her diligence and enthusiasm going over homework problems with me....every math student should be so lucky!

I hated Math! My sophomore year Mrs Reed asked me what I wanted to do when I grew up and I told her a Police Officer. She said “X” is the bad guy. Here is how you investigate to find out who “X” is. The rest is history! I’m in my 32nd year as A Police Officer and I cherish what Mrs Reed did for me. I’m sad that I never got to see her after graduation. RIP Mrs Reed. You made a huge difference in my life!
