Wilson, Amy Beloved wife, mother, and 'Gran', Amy Wilson passed away May 24th, at the age of 72. She was a talented cross-stitching master, teacher, volunteer, blogger, painter, and aficionado of all things sweet. She was also a cherished friend to many cross-stitching friends around the world,...
I am very sorry for your loss. I only had the chance to meet Amy when I was very young, and I still keep the stuffed animal she made for me. I hope she is at peace in heaven.

Dear Sons,
I am an old old friend of Amy´s and her folks. Her father Budd and my dad were best friends from the time Budd moved to Clinton in the early 1930´s and so many nights Dad would take me up to the 400 block of North Madison St to the big house on the northeast corner of of the block to visit Budd, Margie, and the increasing family of girls.
Amy was the first. Always there with a great big grin - just like her mother´s.
I´m not sure what year Budd and Margie moved about 20 miles...

So sorry for your loss. Amy was a sweetie. We played together in our early grade school years. I remember taking around May baskets.

Altho I never met Amy, I always looked forward to reading her blog and considered her a friend. I enjoyed seeing her projects and can´t believe how much she accomplished each day. And she walked on days that were much too cold for me to venture out! She also led me into temptation to buy kits and projects. I had always hoped I would get to meet her one day. She was such an inspiration. My sincere sympathy to your family.

I followed Amy´s blog from here in the U.K. for many years. Her stitching was an inspiration, her writing was witty and her warmth and humour shone through. She clearly adored all of her family and I think of you all missing her. There are so many of us out here in the wider world missing her too, though we may never have met.

Very sad news. I followed your dear Amy several years now on her Blog. Her creations were marvellous and her posts gave me the opportunity to see stitching projects otherwise I did not have the chance.

My husband and I met Amy many years ago when we attended the same church. She taught me the art of Counted Cross Stitch and shared some of her own designs with me. I've made many gifts using the skills Amy taught me. She was a lovely person and will be missed.
