Amylia "Amy" Yeaman

Amylia - I´m absolutely gutted and seriously shocked to learn of your untimely death. It doesn´t seem so long ago we were editing each other´s poetry theses, and I´m so glad we were friends. My thoughts and heavy heart go out to your family, and especially to Piper. I miss your voice, your friendship, and you. Rest peacefully. You won´t be forgotten.

I only knew Amylia for one day but she left a strong impression on me. It was 2016 and we were going door to door to encourage people to vote in the presidential election and collecting absentee ballots. She believed in the importance of people's vote so much that she volunteered her time for this. She told me about Piper with great pride and joy. She adored her! She struck me as a deeply caring person.
