Not sure what to say?

I was a faculty member at UCSD during the time Ana was a Clinical Fellow. I am submitting a photo of Ana Dancing with Dr. Sam Yen at his retirement celebration. It speaks volumes about Ana's glowing personality. I will miss her.

Dr. Ana, as she was referred to in our household, meant so much to us. She performed several surgeries on me when other physicians sent me packing. She had the skill and dedication to "take me on." Amanda, Joana and Katie, Elizabeth, Julie and I were so glad to see you all this past week at your mother's visitation. We have so many great memories of time spent with you, your mom and your dad in those early years. May God bless each of you during this time. Take care - Doug Eidson

We have many happy memories from our daughters soccer years of Ana and Rich as fellow parents. Prayers up for the peace all the family during these difficult times.

I did not know Ana directly, but I feel I know her through her brother Armando and am confident that she was a remarkable sister and individual. I wish her memory brings joy and smiles to the family and everyone whose life she touched.

What an incredibly brilliant, kind and special woman. We are lucky to have known her. Thinking of you all and sending all my love.
