Lydia ,Irene,Dahlia,Rachel &Joe James my dear nieces & nephew I cant believe it's been a year. I miss talking to her on a weekly basis and sometimes daily. our conversations started with the weather, then all of you and most times we go back to "memory lane". as far back as Hughes, Arkansas living on a farm and going to school there, I was in the first grade my sister was in the 6th. I was so proud of her then and also now. Rest in peace my loving sister, see you soon. Chavel.

In the heyday of the blood, on a Sunday in the Fall of 1981, our paths converged, pareciendome completamente bella, and exuding elegance and an innate savoir-faire. That image frozen in time was recalled decades later upon gazing at the poignant and beautiful 1936 photograph of the Migrant Mother. Two score and two years later on a Sunday this Fall, I learned of her departure from this world for paradise. A befitting homage to her memory is the song, "La Mama" (Spanish) by Charles Aznavour...

I had the pleasure of meeting Marianne in Mercedes where we both taught. We attended many in-services and always shared ideas. My deepest condolences to the family. Rest in peace my friend.

Mary Ann and y mom have been friends since college. She was always so nice to use. She always had a smile on her face. They used to talk about all things including construction & remodeling of her bathroom. My husband called them the engineers!
