Analea wrote one of the best biographies, about her incredible mother Gladys McGarey, that I have ever read! (Actually, I have read it over and over!) Her enormous skill as a writer has touched me deeply.

Word has just reached me of Annie's passing. We were school friends, oblivous to what our futures held, just living for the 1960s. When Annie's radiant smile came my way, I experienced a special moment. I am glad to have known her and send my thoughts and prayers hoping that they bring you comfort.

Our deepest sympathy to the McGarey family on their loss of dear Analea. Our hearts are in rhythm with yours since we knew the beauty she brought to this world. The good news is that Annie is now warming the heavens with her smile and dwells peacefully in God's hands. Our prayers are with all of you as you carry on.

I remember Analea (she went by a different name when I knew her)-- she was so smart, kind and influential in my life and I am greatly saddened at her passing. Blessings to her family.

My heartfelt condolences to the whole McGarey family, especially to Dr. Gladys and Dr. Helene through whom I met Analea in their Phoenix Program. I will always treasure that encounter. We have the worst of it, going on without Analea in the flesh; I have absolutely no doubt that she is fulfilled and in life, at this moment, however out of reach she may seem to us.

It is love that causes us to grieve, and love that comforts us.
Analea taught us lessons about life fully lived. She touched so many spots of this planet and it is her love that endures and ripples out from those places and the lives she impacted.
