Your mother was a perfect example of the caution to not judge a book by its cover. Who could have ever guessed that this traditional woman with conservative tastes in everything, from art to religion & politics, was once roughing it in the Alaskan wilderness- catching & smoking salmon and killing grizzlies?!? Incredible. You Carlstrom kids have quite an impressive, dare I say, daunting, ancestral legacy bequeathed to you.
