Not sure what to say?

I'm so sad to discover that Andy has left us. I literally fell in love with him, the first time we met. I lived in Tampa and went to Skippers one Sunday night with friends. Andy approached me, struck up a conversation and it took about 1 minute to discover our shared St. Louis roots.....BAM! We became quite close. My son, Adam adored Andy. They were instant buddies. Adam was the 4 yr. old crown prince of Skippers. Riding on Andy's shoulders every where we went. I've missed him since 1988,...

Ann, so sorry to hear of Andy's passing. I was a fraternity brother of his and we would enjoy lunch together a couple times a month. He will be missed by all his TEKE brothers.

One of my favorite lazy swim buds in S. Tampa. So sorry to read of his passing. He is missed. Rest in Peace Andy!

I am sorry to hear of Andy's death. I grew up on Warwick Lane with Andy. There were many pre-schoolers on the block in the late 40's and early 50's. Andy was a friend to all and a significant part of my memories of that time. I remember him fondly.

Andy was a dear friend for close to 30 years, both here in CA and in Florida. His parents, while they were in Mendicino, were wonderful additional 'family' for me and my family. They are misssed, and so will Andy be missed. Love you Andy!

I am deeply sorry to hear this news. Andy and I swam next to each other for many years over the course of the last 20 years. He was a close acquaintance and someone who I always enjoyed seeing and speaking with. This is shocking. RIP.

Okay old buddy, go rest in peace and we will see you in the next world. You did just fine while you were here. Thanks for the memories and you will be missed by many.

From someone who worked side by side with Andy in the early Skippers years, he was a good human being. His sense of humor and work ethic were infectious and his pride in ownership came through clearly everyday. All 'mullets', former and present, owe Andy a debt of gratitude.

John and I were shocked to hear of Andy passing. He was always such an athletic guy. He was a little frail when we saw him four years ago at Thanksgiving, he was always an inspiration to me. He will be missed.
