Dear Vern, While I was reading the Penn Dental Medicine Journal Spring 2018 I noted the passing of Andre. I remember him well.

I was very sorry to hear of Andy's passing. We were classmates and good friends at Colgate. Our freshman year he convinced me to stop smoking. I am still grateful for that . He was a good man, and I'll miss seeing him at reunions.

Though I personally gave my condolences to his wife today, I want to extend them to the rest of his family. Andy and I met 6 years ago, and he always stopped to talk no matter how busy or in a rush he may be in. I feel like I've lost a very close relative and I was just his mailman.
May he rest in peace. I will always remember Dr. Buchs.

Prayers for this time of sorrow. My twin Sister (Lou Humphreys) also worked with Dr Buchs and he was most kind and caring during her...
