Not sure what to say?

I think of Andre often and have repeated his words to a couple of decades of medical students and residents. He is missed.

So sorry to hear of Andre's passing. I have fond memories of Andre and Marie-Jose when we first came to Charlottesville. May the family be comforted.

Cluster of 50 Memorial Trees

My sincere condolences to Marie and the entire Derdeyn Family. It is with great sadness that I received the news of Andre's passing, though I am glad to hear that he left this life engaged in one of his passions.

We that donate time and efforts to the Society, are saddened to hear of Andre passing. Our sympathy is extended to his family and loved ones. His contributions to the society in support of our Hurricane Camille exhibit is greatly appreciated.

The Jack Derdeyn family is so sorry for the loss of Andre.

So sorry to get this news. It´s been a long time since he and I talked. I liked him. My wife (Susan) and I would be honored to attend any final service and represent the Don Derdeyn branch of the family if it is open to extended family.([email protected])

My wishes for peace to his close family, he was surely an accomplished citizen in all that he put his hand to. I wish I had known him better.
