Lincoln- Andre R. Laferriere, 57 of Knowles St. died Monday at Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Eileen F. (McMahon) Laferriere.

Born in Providence a son of Andre E. and Henriette (Cannac) Laferriere of Central Falls. He lived in Lincoln for the past thirteen years. He was a shipper for Microfibres for seventeen years before leaving due to illness.

He attended Southeastern Louisiana College and also attended Art School in Louisiana. He was a former member of the recreational Fishing Alliance, he was a member of Save the Bay, he also served on the Marine Fisheries Council as a representative for recreational saltwater fisherman.

Besides his wife and parents he leaves two daughters Rachel E. and Rebecca S. Laferriere both at home, four sisters Nanette Caddell of Central Falls, Yvette Powers and Jeanne Parker both of Pawtucket and Helene Bucka of North Kingstown, two brothers Robert Laferriere of Pawtucket and Paul Laferriere of Providence. He was the brother of the late Michael Laferriere.

His funeral and burial will be private. Arrangements by Bellows-Falso Funeral Chapel, Lincoln.
