ENOSBURG FALLS – Andre “Andy” J. Larose, age 49, passed away Friday August 4, 2006 at his home with his loving family at his side following a courageous battle with cancer.

Andy was born June 12, 1957 in St. Albans, VT the son of Rita (Giroux) Larose and the late Albert Larose.

Andy was a life long resident of Enosburg. His employment started with driving truck for his father at Larose & Sons Trucking, then for his brother Larry at Franklin Ford Tractor, Farrell Distributing, Stowe & Sons, and finally at Wrightholm Trucking having to stop work in October of 2005 due to his illness. While driving with Farrell’s in December of 1998 Andy was recognized for driving 1 Million Miles Accident Free.

Andy was an avid NASCAR fan with his favorite driver having been Dale Earnhardt Sr. He also enjoyed playing horseshoes and cribbage, going to deer camp “Camp Perfect”. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his willingness to help others, and how meticulous he kept his vehicles.

He is survived by his wife Sharon (Roberge) Larose of Enosburg Falls, they were married on June 21, 1980; his sons, Dylon Larose of Burlington, and Dakota Larose of Enosburg Falls; his mother, Rita Larose of Richford; his brothers, Larry Larose and his friend Linda Antonucci of Essex, Michael Larose and his wife Janet of Enosburg Falls, and Stephen Larose and his wife Karen of Swanton; his sisters, Claire Kaczmarczyk of Springfield, MA, Susan Dussault and her husband Pierre of Richford, Jean Jewett and her husband Daniel of Enosburg, Mary Larose of Enosburg, Diane Lumbra and her husband Lloyd of Berkshire, Barbara Hungerford and her husband Thomas of Swanton, Lisa Barnes and her friend, Tom Tribble of Enosburg, Lorraine McAllister and her husband Michael of Enosburg, and Jeannette Larivee and her husband James of Enosburg; his father & mother-in-law, Richard & Claire Roberge of Enosburg; his sister-in-law, Judy Griffith and her husband Scott of Stowe; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also, many loving and supportive friends. Besides his father he was predeceased by a brother, Ronald Larose; and a brother-in-law, John Kaczmarczyk.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday August 8, 2006 at 11:00 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Enosburg Falls with Rev. Benedict Kiely celebrating the Mass of Christian burial. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held Monday from 5-8 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls.
