ere’s to one of the world’s most fabulous, unapologetic pioneers in the fashion industry from Durham, NC. Such an inspiration to me to reach higher in my career. I reminisce on his commencement address at my graduation at SCAD Atlanta in May 2008, watching us walk across the stage, eyeing our walk and shoe game in grad robes receiving our degrees!

I was also happy to attend his documentary premier at SCAD as well and hear him speak, donning his signature caftan with Gucci...
