My dearest Andre. You have never made it to the past. You are with me now as then.

Dear Barbara,

I'm so sorry to hear about Andre's passing. I have MANY memories of Andre - both in the Union Baptist choir and in the Noank Baptist choir for a while. He never understood why we shouldn't sing "Rs"in choral music no matter how many times I explained it to him! I enjoyed his perseverance and his love for singing. He sang MESSIAH with us many times and I was always happy to see him. Please accept my condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I only knew Andre during the last few months of his life, but clearly he was a remarkable man. His wife, Barbara, was an amazing source of support for him and I can't say enough about her devotion. Clearly, the world is a lesser place without Andre's presence. Rest in peace dear friend...

On behalf of the Union Baptist Church chancel choir, we are very sorry for your loss. Andre was a lively participant in choir who could sing such low notes! He kept us on our toes when he'd burst into speaking French. May you continue to remember the good and blessed times you had together. You are in our prayers.
