Dr. Andrea Louise Jenkins

Wishing great strength and sympathy for the family of Andrea. We both graduated from UChicago on the same day and it is incredibly sad to receive the news of her passing. Her works shows she brought a unique and rare passion, politics and ethics to academia and her loss will be felt greatly.

I am very sad to hear this. I regret only having had limited occasion to get to know Drea as a colleague in Chicago, but she always showed great kindness, wonderful humor, and admirable passion for her work. Please accept my condolences.

I was merely an acquaintance of Dr. Jenkins, but she meant a great deal to at least one dear friend of mine and was always spoken of in the warmest and most admiring terms in our larger circle of friends. I am very sorry for this very untimely loss. My deepest condolences.

Andrea was smart beyond her year's as a young child,very smart and intelligent.I will always remember her for her knowledge.When her uncle Michael babysit her as a young child is when I knew then she was a genius...May God bless the Jenkins and Horne family and I will keep each of you in my prayers...

So very very sorry for your loss. I remember her well...I was the student teacher in her first grade class. She was such a sweet young lady.

I am so sadden to see the passing of Andrea. I lost touch with her but we attended Montessori preschool and gymnastics together as children. I remember her and Shelby being my best friends. Thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
