Andrea Marie Schwalb, 34, of Bloomington, IL and formerly of Jacksonville, IL, passed away Sunday, Sept. 20, 2020, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.

She was born Dec. 16, 1985, in Springfield, the daughter of Elmer L. “Buster” and Grace A. Fisher Schwalb.

Mrs. Schwalb, I was Andrea’s science teacher during her freshman year at JHS. I was so very sorry to read of her passing. I will always remember her smile, her kindness, and her sweet personality. Andrea was a favorite of mine, and she brightened my day. Please accept my deepest sympathy. May your memories give you comfort; may God’s love bring you peace.

Grace you have my deepest condolences, with the loss of Andrea. I had the pleasure of knowing her. We’d had many deep discussions. RIP and fly high Andrea. You were loved and will be missed.

Andrea is someone who leaves an everlasting impression. I had the privilege of meeting her at church. She was always kind, sweet, and ready to share her heart with anyone around her. Grace, please know you and the family are in my prayers for peace and comfort. <<>>

I had the privledge of being Andrea's instructor and adviser at RMU. She was smart and kind and always had a smile on her face. She will be missed but not forgotten.

I have been extremely blessed that God gifted me with Andrea as an amazing friend. I'll never forget all of the sweet moments, laughs, and fun conversations that we shared together and with friends. Andrea was so smart and driven, and that always inspired me. I have been so blessed, and so thankful, that we met.

Andrea was a good friend of mine and we met at church! I am thinking of you during this difficult time. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family!

Andrea was one of the nicest, kindest student I had the pleasure to teach. She will be deeply missed.
