Read MoreBrother Barrish was one of my professors when I was a student at U.D. back in the 70's. I graduated from there with a BFA in 1979. I took many classes from him, mostly printmaking, and I have many fond memories of those classes. I loved printmaking, and Brother Barrish played an important part in my college experience. I am also a proud owner of one of his beautiful, colorful paintings.

Thee best art teacher that I was fortunate to have both at Chaminade High School and at the University of Dayton. Bro. Joe was one of the reasons for me becoming an art teacher. Loved his teaching and artwork. I have a couple of his original artwork. May he rest in peace!
