SPRINGFIELD, IL - Andrew Scott Beauchamp, "Big", 32, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016, at home with his family by his side. He was born December 7, 1984 in Springfield, to Scott and Kelly Carver Beauchamp. He was preceded in death by his sister, Chloe and grandfather, George Carver. Andrew married Jennifer Antonacci September 22, 2007. Andrew was a life insurance producer for Mutual of Omaha and salesman for D's Auto Imports.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, Jennifer and their children, Elise, Claire, Jase, and Norah; parents, Scott and Kelly Beauchamp of Springfield; sister, Rachel (Curtis) Hughes of Springfield; grandparents, Tom and Marilyn Beauchamp of Sherman and Donna Carver of Springfield; uncles and aunts, Mark (Wanda) Beauchamp, Stuart Beauchamp (companion Kirsta Nonneman), Keith (Kathy) Beauchamp, George (Patricia) Carver, Dawn (Dave) Leigh, Greg (Kim) Carver; nieces, cousins, and many friends.
His family will greet friends 3pm-7pm, Wednesday, December 21, at Staab Polk Memorial Home, 8855 State Rt. 4, Chatham.
Visitation will also be held 9am-10am, Thursday, December 22, at Cherry Hills Baptist Church, 2125 Woodside Road, Springfield, before the Celebration of Andrew's life at 10am. Rev. Kirk Bennett will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Beauchamps for family expenses.

I can't say that I was a friend of Big, or anything more than an old acquaintance. I was the new girl halfway through my junior year - the start of his final high school semester - and he was one of the people that really made me feel welcome. He had such a big heart and was immediately friendly to me on my first day - and every day after. I got to know him during PE and the musical, and he was so funny and always knew when to do the right thing to make everyone feel a little less stressed. Knowing Big made my transition to a brand new place so much easier, and he made a big mark on my short time at RHS. I am sad that he is gone, and will keep him and the family in my thoughts. I hope that you all can find peace.

I'm so saddened at the loss of Andrew. I have many memories of him when he attended Riverton High school and was a member of Hawk Pride.
